What does it mean to move from being a doer to an enabler as a leader?

Moving from solo to CEO requires transitioning from doer to enabler.

Your priorities shift from task completion to system building and people development. It's a mindset shift. And it's not always easy. 

But every time you let go of a task, you make room for leadership. Which can be the most difficult shift for you?

Control can become a bottleneck in a start-up environment. Scaling entails sharing ownership of - ideas, outcomes and sometimes mistakes.

Exercise: Make a list of every task you completed this week. Next to each, mark. 

* I can only do this
* I could delegate with training
* This should already be owned by someone else.

Now choose one task to delegate this week (inspired by Dan Martell's "Buy Back Your Time").
