Will AI Glasses replace mobile phones as claimed by Mark Zuckerberg?

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, believes AI smart glasses will soon be required, and those who do not have them may be at a "significant cognitive disadvantage."

According to him, glasses will take the role of conventional gadgets and act as "personal superintelligence," providing real-time support such as translation, object identification, and immediate responses.

AI features are supported by Meta's current line of Oakley and Ray-Ban eyewear, and an upgraded Orion model is underdeveloped.

Zuckerberg is steadfast in his belief that wearable AI will emerge as the next major computing platform, even though Meta's Reality Labs lost $4.53 billion in Q2 and $70 billion since 2020.
